Description
The FRIGIDAIRE / ELECTROLUX refrigerator door shelf bar # 240338001 is an OEM part and is installed on the inside of the refrigerator door. This door shelf bar is located at the top of the door.
The door shelf bars are used to add extra space to the refrigerator for food and beverage storage. It is made of durable plastic, but it can crack, break or become brittle over time. If heavy items are placed on the door shelves, it can cause the door bar that hold them to break. If the piece no longer attaches securely to the inside door panel, it must be replaced.
No tools are required to replace the door shelf bar. Open the refrigerator and carefully lift out the old door shelf bar and set it aside. Align the slots and tabs on the door and door shelf bar and apply slight pressure to insert it securely into the anchor provided.
