Zero Waste Box™ for the KITCHEN

The kitchen generates a significant amount of waste that is difficult to recycle: used sponges, plastic wrap, freezer bags, flexible food packaging, disposable gloves, and more. The TerraCycle Zero Waste Box™ for the kitchen allows you to divert all these items from landfills. Drop them off for free at the ELECTROLIBRE store. We will take care of sending them to specialized recycling facilities.

Zero Waste Box™ for OFFICE supplies

Empty pens, dry markers, liquid white-out, highlighters, and ink cartridges—all these office items can be recycled. Drop them off for free in our Terracycle Zero Waste™ Box in store. We'll take care of the rest. Quick, free, ecological.

Important: This box does not accept ink cartridges, printer drums, batteries, household waste, hazardous materials, medical waste, or liquids. Only drop off dry and clean office supplies.

Is the Terracycle drop-off service free?

Yes, completely free. Drop off your accepted items in the boxes available in store—we will ensure they are sent to specialised recycling channels.

How does the bulk filling station work?

It's simple, economical, and ecological! Come to the store with your reusable containers, and our team will take care of everything for you with our complete refill service.

  1. Bring your containers: They do not have to be completely empty. You can come and top up a container that has already been started.
  2. Initial weighing: Before refilling, our team weighs your container to subtract its initial weight (tare). This way, you only pay for the product added.
  3. Refilling by our team: A member of our staff refills at the bulk station according to the desired quantity.
  4. Sold by weight and discount: The final price is calculated only on the net weight of the added product. In addition, by bringing your own container, you instantly benefit from a 5% discount on this purchase.

Which household products are available in bulk?

We offer a complete range of eco-friendly products for home cleaning and laundry. Check our in-store inventory to see all available products at the refill station.

Do you pick up old appliances?

Yes, provided they are fully prepared for transport before our arrival.
For our team to pick up your old appliance, you must make the following preparations:

  • Complete disconnection: The old appliance must be disconnected from the power grid, emptied of its contents (for refrigerators) or water (for washing machines), and disconnected from drainage or ventilation ducts.
  • Uninstall: If your old laundry appliance is stacked or on a pedestal that you wish to keep or remove, it must be completely uninstalled AND unstacked before delivery.

What do you do with the old appliances you collect?

We route them to responsible recycling channels where components and materials are recovered and reused. Some appliances in good condition are refurbished and resold.

Can I bring my old appliances to the store if I don't order delivery?

Contact us to discuss options. The free pick-up service is mainly offered when a new appliance is delivered.

Do I need to clean my containers before filling them at the bulk station?

Yes, make sure your containers are clean and dry before filling them to avoid any contamination of the products.

Are all eco-friendly cleaning products also available in traditional formats?

Some of our eco-friendly household products are available exclusively in bulk to avoid plastic container waste. However, the majority of our range remains available in traditional or refill formats, both in-store and on our online store. Please note that a few specific products are not available in bulk.
