The door bin or door shelf adds extra space to the refrigerator for storing food and beverages. It is easily removable and can be used as a container to bring your bottles and condiments to the table or outdoors. The door bin is made of durable plastic, but it can crack, break, or become brittle over time. If heavy items are placed in the door bins, it can cause the door bins or the inner door panel to break. If the part no longer attaches firmly to the inner door panel, it should be replaced.

No tools are needed to replace the door shelf bar. Open the refrigerator and remove the old door bin and set it aside. Align the slots and tabs of the door and the door bin, then apply light pressure to firmly insert it into the designated anchor.
